Privacy Policy
27 August 2026
What this site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Written to describe what the site actually does rather than to cover every theoretical possibility.
This website runs no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts of any kind. It sets one cookie, which remembers your language. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to type into the contact form.
Who we are
Silicon Squire LLC is the data controller for information collected through this website. We are registered in Sheridan, Wyoming, United States, and you can reach us through the contact form on this site.
This policy covers siliconsquire.com and its language versions. It does not cover systems we build and operate for clients, which are governed by the agreements in place with those clients.
Information you give us
If you use our contact form, we receive what you enter into it:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company, if you provide one
- Your message
That message is delivered to us by email and nothing else is attached to it. We use it to reply to you and to carry on any resulting conversation about work. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send unsolicited email.
The form is protected by a hidden field that automated submissions tend to fill in and people never see. We chose this over a third-party captcha specifically so that visiting this page does not report anything about you to another company.
Information collected automatically
None, beyond what any web server necessarily handles in order to send you a page. This site carries no analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording, no advertising tags, and no embedded third-party scripts. We do not build a profile of you, and we have no way to recognise you across other websites.
Our web server may keep short-lived operational logs containing IP addresses, as any server does, for security and diagnostics. These are not used to identify or profile visitors.
Cookies
One cookie, named i18n_locale. It records whether you chose English, Arabic, or Russian so the site does not have to ask again. It contains a language code and nothing else, and it is not used for tracking or analytics.
You can clear or block it through your browser at any time. The site works normally without it; it will simply not remember your language preference.
Third parties
No third party receives data from this website. We do not use advertising networks, social tracking pixels, analytics platforms, or marketing tools here. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, npm, Telegram, and WhatsApp are ordinary links. Nothing is sent to those services unless you click through, at which point their own policies apply.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our infrastructure, or the safety of others.
Why we are allowed to process this
Where the GDPR or similar legislation applies to you, our legal bases are:
- Steps prior to a contract — for handling enquiries you send us about working together.
- Legitimate interests — for keeping our systems secure and functioning.
- Consent — where you voluntarily provide information, which you may withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
We retain contact enquiries and the correspondence that follows them indefinitely, because a conversation that begins as an enquiry may become a long-running working relationship, and because we may need the record for legal and accounting purposes.
If you would like yours deleted, ask us through the contact form on this site and we will do it. We will not ask you to justify the request.
Where it is stored
Enquiries reach us as email on infrastructure we operate. Access is limited to members of our team who need it, systems are patched and hardened as routine, and data is encrypted in transit.
Our servers may be located outside your country of residence. Where information is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards and take the same care regardless of where the data sits.
No system is perfectly secure and we do not claim otherwise. What we commit to is operating this one carefully, and telling you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it
- Ask us to delete it
- Ask us to stop or restrict how we use it
- Receive a copy in a portable format
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
Send the request through the contact form on this site and we will respond within 30 days, at no charge.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and the people who work in them. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
